What every one of us can do for the children in Palestine Share

Kids all around the world are amazing creatures :) sometimes i am angry with them cuz they are so crazy and make me crazy... however each of these little ones has so much courage and strength in his/her heart, and they are all able to show it. any time i think about what the Palestinian kids handle to live with, i feel ashamed. ashamed, cuz i am an adult, and i am not sure if i ever could be like one of the little girls and boys in the Occupied territories.

SOS Childrens´ Villages is an international organisation helping children who have lost their families and whose families are, from whatever reason, unable to take care of them. they have been nominated for the Peace Nobel Prize several times.

what i love about kids is that they appreciate every little thing that you do for them. when you have a few minutes time, buy a postcard and send it to the children in Gaza or Bethlehem, it is soooooooooooooooooooooo much appreciated.it will be delayed, sometimes for weeks or months, due to the siege... but when they receive it, it will be appreciated. and, God willing, it will make them smile:)

join me please, it is a little thing, but it means so much:)

this is an advice i got for writing to children in SOS villages all around the world. i summed it up:
in general, it is recommended, when sending photos ,postcards or letters, not to expect an answer. in many parts of the world it is quite unusual to get mail, or to respond it:) and well, even if it is a normal thing, a lot of kids have sooooo many other things to do than writing mails to unknown people from far away:) parcels are not recommended to be sent, since in many areas the delivery is to be paid by the one who should receive it, and it is indeed often very complicated.always consider what you are sending, since in different cultures often some things are not accepted, or misunderstood.also remember that the kids love to see different places, they love and are proud of stickers, postcards, letters, even stamps, everything.it is especially our attention that matter to them :)

Will do <3 <3 <3

I was looking at London postcards only today, there are some really nice ones, for example cutouts of doubledeckers, beefeaters, and taxis.
