It is a beautiful 28c today and has been since the the heatwave broke.
I lived in Calgary for one year with my family in 1983, on a teacher exchange. I went to a conference at Adelaide University on Saturday, and I met one of your countrymen from Edmonton Uni....David Marples. His area of expertise is Ukraine Russia and Belorus. He is a historian that currenly is researching the Holodomor of Ukraine I don't know what he will discover as he has archives from Kiev, he can not get them from Moscow. Aparently it is hard going. I read Robert Conquest's. " Harvest of Sorrow " some 20 years ago, and it was a horror. The Holocaust is well known, but many other atrocities, be they genocides or not are not well known. My mother was a child in Chernihiv, Ukraine and survived. She always maintained that the Zionists spearheaded this and other purges for Stalin. Having read more broadly over the years I'm inclined to believe her. I once thought it was paranoia due to her awful experience. Books like yours further testify to under cover political machinations of Zionism.
So, what is your next topic of research ??
